Hello! I'm Dan, an English Literature specialist with a BA (Hons), an MA by Research, and a PhD awarded by a Russell Group university. I help students step into their English exams with confidence across GCSE and A-Level.
About My Sessions
My teaching style is rooted in demystifying the curriculum and helping students form genuine opinions on the texts they study. Whether it's Shakespeare, Victorian fiction, modern drama, or poetry, my goal is always to help students build perceptive analyses around real ideas.I'm always keeping one eye on the mark scheme, which means I'm constantly drawing and re-drawing the line between each learning activity and the assessment objective to which it relates.
